2002 Morgenhof Noble Late Harvest

The wine has a bright straw yellow color. The nose shows hints of wood, a slight nuttiness and honey flavor. The palate is full and syrupy with loads of fruit and ends with citrus and barley sugar taste.

2007 Iona Noble Late Harvest

The nose shows apricot, honey and almonds and on entry the palate is rich and sweet and the wine appears to almost evaporate on your tongue as the wonderful natural acidity balances the sweetness with a dry and long finish. Only 50% of the wine was matured in new French barriques so as to retain the freshness, minerality and delicate fruit found in our Sauvignon Blanc.

This amazing 100% Chenin Blanc offers up honeyed tropical fruit, dried apricot, honey orange marmalade, pineapple, and buttered nut-like scents. In the mouth, it is full-bodied sweet and powerful with refreshing acidity as well as massive concentration. Classic rich mouth reminiscent of Sauternes.
